A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE
FOR THE PURCHASE BY THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK OF CERTAIN
LAND AND EQUIPMENT FROM THE DREW FIRE PROTECTIVE ASSOCIA-
TION FOR USE AS A FIRE STATION; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS, the Drew Fire Protective Association owns certain
land and fire-fighting equipment, which it desires to sell; and
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock desires to negotiate with
the said Association for the purchase of said land and equipment;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed
to negotiate with the Drew Fire Protective Association for the pur-
chase of certain land and equipment owned by it and located at 4515
Marlborough Drive in the .City of Little Rock, Arkansas, for a price
not to exceed Ten Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($10,000 .00) , which
facilities, if acquired, are adaptable for use by the City as a fire
station .
SECTION 2 . This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
