A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR REPAIRS TO CERTAIN
EQUIPMENT IN THE TRAFFIC DEPARTMENT; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT
THEREFOR; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS, a certain aerial ladder truck used by the Traffic
Department of the City of Little Rock has been damaged in such
a manner that it could not and can not be locally repaired; and
WHEREAS, said truck was purchased from the Utility Equipment
Company International, Inc . of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and
WHEREAS, said Company is the only Company within the know-
ledge of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock which
is capable of repairing all of the damage to the said vehicle; and
WHEREAS, the said Company has submitted a price for the re-
pairs, which is found to be reasonable;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. A contract for the repair of damage to the aerial
ladder truck used by the Traffic Department is hereby awarded to
Utility Equipment Company International, Inc. , in the sum of
One Thousand Two Hundred Twenty Five and 21/100 Dollars ($1,225 .21) .
SECTION 2. The City Manager and Director of Finance are here-
by authorized and directed to execute the necessary warrant or
warrants in payment of the repair cost set forth in Section 1
hereof.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
