A RESOLUTION GRANTING AN EASEMENT TO THE ARKANSAS
STATE HOSPITAL ACROSS CERTAIN MUNICIPAL PROPERTY
FOR THE PURPOSE OF LAYING AND MAINTAINING A WATER
LINE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS, the Arkansas State Hospital desires an easement
from the City of Little Rock across certain Municipal Property
for the purpose of laying and maintaining a water line; and
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock desires to grant such
an easement to said Arkansas State Hospital;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor and City C_i_erk are hereby authorized
and directed to grant an Easement across certain Municipal Property,
hereinafter described, to the Arkansas State Hospital for the pur-
pose of laying and maintaining a water line.
SECTION 2. The Easement, which the Mayor and City Clerk
are authorized to execute on behalf of the City, is in form and
words as follows:

atien of the stns of $1.00 to it in hand paid by the Arkansas State Hospital,
Little Rock, Arkansas, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, do here»
by grant and convey unto the said Arkansas State Hospital, Little Rook,
Arkansas, Grantee, and unto its successors and assigns forever, the
right, privilege and easement to lay, construct, maintain and operate
water mains and to do all work necessary therefor and for all other
purposes and uses convenient, necessary or required for the proper ase
and maintenance of same, across a plot of ground described as follows:
"The centerline of a 1C foot wide easement for construction of a
water main situated in War Memorial Park and in a part of the
SW4, NE4 of Section 6, T-1-N , R12-W , Little Rock, Pulaski County,
Arkansas , said centerline being more particularly described as
follows:
Beginning at a point on the East line of the said SW4s NE4,
said point being 1071.8 feet South of the South right•.of-way
line of West Markham Street, thence from said point of begin!).
ing West 527.7 feet more or less to the existing Little Rock
Municipal Water Works 8" water main, said point being the point
of ending of the said center line of said easement, and said
point being 78 feet North of the existing fire hydrant located
on the aforesaid 8" water main. "
The Grantee shall at all times have ingress and egress to, from and
upon said lands for the purposes herein mentioned and described and for
the further purpose of maintaining, repairing or replacing the improve
manta herein provided for.
And in further consideration of the premises , do hereby acknowledge
receipt in full of all compensation and satisfaction for the property taken
or to be taken from said right-cfeway and damages done or to be done by
reason of construction, maintenance, operation, repair and replacement of
the improvements herein provided for in and upon said right-of•-way.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD said easement and rights unto the said Arkansas
State Hospital, Little Rock, Arkansas, for th ■ use and benefit of the
Board of Trustees of the Arkansas State Hospital, its successors and
assigns forever.
