A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO CONVEY BY A QUITCLAIM DEED
CERTAIN CITY PROPERTY TO RIVERDRIVE COMPANY; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock owns certain property
hereinafter described and did, according to law, call for bids
thereon; did advertise for same; and
WHEREAS, the bid of Riverdrive Company in the amount of
Two Hundred Fifty and No/100 Dollars ($250 .00) cash was the
highest responsible and responsive bid submitted; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of Directors of the
City of Little Rock to sell and convey said property to the River-
drive Company by Quitclaim Deed;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The bid of Riverdrive Company in the amount of
Two Hundred Fifty and No/l00 Dollars ($250 .00) for the purchase
of certain City owned property, hereinafter described, is hereby
accepted.
SECTION 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
and directed to execute a Quitclaim Deed in favor of Riverdrive
Company conveying unto the said Company all of the interests of
the City of Little Rock in and to the said property, which Quit-
claim Deed, including the description of the said property, is in
form and words as follows :

WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas,
on the day of , 1961, by Resolution No.
, authorized and directed the Mayor, together with the
City Clerk, to convey to Riverdrive Company property in the City
of Little Rock, hereinafter described;
NOW THEREFORE, We, W. C. KNOOP and PAULINE G . BEESON, Mayor
and City Clerk respectively of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
a municipal corporation, organized, chartered and existing under
authority of the laws of the State of Arkansas, for and in considera-
tion of the sum of Two Hundred Fifty and No/100 Dollars ($250 .00) ,
cash in hand paid, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, acting
for and in behalf of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, do hereby
convey, alien and quitclaim unto Riverdrive Company, its successors
and assigns forever, the following lands lying in the City of Little
Rock, County of Pulaski, State of Arkansas, to-wit:
PART OF BLOCK 297 of the Original City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, more particularly described as
follows:
Starting at the northeast corner of Block 297 ,
thence south 150 feet along the east line of Block
297 to the center of the alley which is the point
of beginning; thence south 29 .6 feet along the
east line of Block 297 to the north right-of-way
line of La Harpe Boulevard; thence northwesterly
38.7 feet more or less along the north right-of-
way line of La Harpe Boulevard to a point on the
center line of the alley; thence east 24.9 feet
along the alley center line to the point of be-
ginning, said parcel containing 368 .8 square feet,
more or less .
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same unto Riverdrive Company, and
unto its successors and assigns forever, together with all and
singular, the tenements, appurtenances and hereditaments thereunto
belonging or in any wise appertaining.

Excepted from this grant, however, shall be all rights
to the public heretofore existing in that portion of the above
described property located within the alley platted in Block 297
of the Original City and dedicated for public use.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City of Little Rock, a municipal
corporation, has caused these presents to be signed by its Mayor,
its Clerk and its corporate seal to be herewith affixed, all in
accordance with and pursuant to a Resolution of its Board of Directors,
duly and regularly adopted, a copy of which is hereto attached and
made a part hereof, this day of ,196 .
