2767 RESOLUTION NO. 2, 767
A RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE MEMBERS OF THE LITTLE ROCK
POLICE DEPARTMENT WHO GAVE OF THEIR TIME IN THE CHARITY
FOOTBALL GAME; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS, members of the Little Rock Police Department
participated victoriously in a football game in War Memorial
Stadium on December 3, 1961; and
WHEREAS, the funds raised by said football game are
donated to the needy children and families in the City of
Little Rock in furtherance of the spirit of Christmas;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the individual meuibers of the Little
Rock Police Department are hereby commended for the unselfish
giving of their time and effort for the purpose of helping
needy and underprivileged persons in this couuuunity to enjoy
the Christmas season.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its adoption .
