2765 RESOLUTION NO. 2,765
A RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACTS ON BIDS FOR THE PURCHASE
OF CERTAIN EQUIPMENT FOR USE BY THE CIVIL DEFENSE DEPARTMENT
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, invitation for bids for the equipment identified by
this Resolution have been legally published; and
WHEREAS, bids have been received and opened pursuant to said
invitation; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock desires
to award the contract on said bids to the lowest responsible bidder therefor;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Contracts for the purchase of the following equipment
for use by the Civil Defense Department of the City of Little Rock are
hereby awarded to the person, firm or corporation in the amounts shown
below:

Three Hundred (300) - - - Safety Helmets - - - Major Welding - - - $1,174.20
Company
SECTION 2. The City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby
authorized and directed to execute the necessary warrant or warrants in
payment of the purchase prices hereinabove identified.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
