A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT OF
A REAL ESTATE OFFICER AND A CLERK STENOGRAPHER;
AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF THEIR SALARIES AND CERTAIN
OTHER EXPENSES FROM THE BUDGET ACCOUNT OF ADMINISTRA-
TIVE & GENERAL SERVICES ACCOUNT NO. 6-6.10; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS
SECTION 1. The City Manager of the City of Little Rock
is hereby authorized and directed to employ a Real Estate
Officer and a Clerk Stenographer to assist the City of Little
Rock in the acquisition of right-of-way for the East-West
Expressway to be constructed in the City of Little Rock. Both
said employees shall be temporary employees and shall not be
subject to Civil Service in any manner.
SECTION 2. For the remaining months of this year, com-
mencing November 15, 1961, the persons employed under Section
1 of this resolution shall be paid for their services as follows :
Real Estate Officer - Salary of Six Hundred and No/100
Dollars ($600.00) per month plus
Fifty and No/100 Dollars ($50.00)
per month for car allowance.
Clerk Stenographer - Two Hundred Fifty and No/100 Dol-
lars ($250.00) per month.
SECTION 3. The City Manager and Director of Finance are
hereby authorized and directed to pay the monthly salaries sti-
pulated in Section 2 of this ordinance for the remaining months
of this year from the Budget Account of Administrative & General
Services Account No. 6-6.10, the money for which has been appro-
priated to said Account by ordinance.
SECTION 4. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
