A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PULASKI COUNTY TAXING
AUTHORITIES, UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS, TO ALLOW UNIVERSAL
AMERICAN LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY A CREDIT ON SUCH OF THE
SUM OF SEVEN HUNDRED SIXTY NINE AND 68/100 DOLLARS
($769.68) PERSONAL PROPERTY TAXES ERRONEOUSLY ASSESSED
AND PAID FOR THE YEAR 1959 AS WOULD BE DISTRIBUTED TO
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1. At such time as the Judge of the County Court
of Pulaski County, Arkansas, and the taxing authorities of
Pulaski County, Arkansas, officially determine that Universal
American Life Insurance Company was erroneously assessed and
paid personal property taxes for the year 1959 in the amount
of Seven Hundred Sixty Nine and 68/100 Dollars ($769.68) and,
further, determine that said Insurance Company should be given
credit for said overpayment in future personal property taxes
to be paid, then and in that event the City of Little Rock does
hereby agree that such portion of said amount in future taxes
as would be distributed to the said City of Little Rock may
be credited to the account of future taxes due said City.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
