2738 RESOLUTION NO. 2,738
A RESOLUTION CREATING TWO (2) NEW POSITIONS ON THE
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE ARKANSAS ARTS CENTER AND
APPOINTING PERSONS TO FILL THESE NEW POSITIONS;
REAPPOINTING MR. WILLARD C. BILLINGSLEY TO SAID
BOARD OF TRUSTEES; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. In addition to the seventeen (17) positions
now existing on the Board of Trustees of the Arkansas Arts Center,
there is hereby created two (2) new positions on said Board of
Trustees in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 11,111,
which authorizes a Board of Trustees consisting of not less than
nine (9) nor more than twenty-four (24) members .
SECTION 2. The following persons are hereby appointed
to serve as members of the Board of Trustees of the Arkansas Arts
Center for a term of four (4) years beginning August 21, 1961,
through August 20, 1965 :
Mrs . James M. McHaney
Mr. James A. Moses
SECTION 3 . Mr. Willard C. Billingsley, whose term expired
May 1, 1961, is hereby reappointed to the Board of Trustees of the
Arkansas Arts Center for a term of four (4) years beginning May 1,
1961, through April 30, 1965 .
SECTION 4. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
