RESOLUTION APPOINTING COMMISSIONERS IN
STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 611
WHEREAS, since being appointed a Commissioner in Street Improve-
ment District No. 611 of Little Rock, Arkansas, Fred J. Nowlin has
sold his property in said District and is no longer a property owner
within said District , and is therefore disqualified by law to act as
Commissioner for said District , and has tendered his resignation as
Commissioner in said District, and said resignation should be accepted ;
and
WHEREAS, Mr. Nowlin and Gretchen Hamilton, the sole remaining
Commissioner of said District, have recommended the appointment of
Lee Kretchmar as successor to Mr . Nowlin on said Board of Improvement
and have represented that Mr. Kretchmar is a property owner in said
District; and
WHEREAS, Fred J. Venner, Commissioner in said District, has
died, and Mrs. Hamilton has recommended the appointment of Joseph
Ruff as successor to Mr. Venner on said Board and has represented
that Mr . Ruff is a property owner in said District ; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that Lee Kretchmar and Joseph Ruff be and
they are hereby appointed Commissioners for Street Improvement
District No. 611 of Little Rock, Arkansas, and they shall forthwith
take their oath of office and enter upon their duties with the other
Commissioner of said District.
