2718 RESOLUTION NO. 2,711
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT ON BIDS FOR THE REPAIRING OF
CERTAIN EQUIPMENT FOR USE BY THE SANITATION DEPARTMENT OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS, invitation for bids for the repair of the equip-
ment identified by this Resolution have been legally published; and
WHEREAS, bids have been received and opened pursuant to said
invitation; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock
desires to award a contract on said bids to the lowest responsible
bidder therefor;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. A contract for the repair of certain equipment
for use by the Sanitation Department of the City of Little Rock
is hereby awarded to the person, firm or corporation in the amount
and for the purposes shown below:

Overhaul of one (1)Diesel Engine on a
Caterpillar Tractor, which shall in-
clude installing new crankshaft, main
and rod bearings, new liners and rings;
rework cylinder head; install new pumps
in fuel system; weld trunnion bearing
on dozer and install new bushing in
hydraulic lift arms . J.A. Riggs
Tractor Company $2,300 .00
SECTION 2. The City Manager and Director of Finance are
hereby authorized and directed to execute the necessary warrant
in payment of the repairs hereinabove identified.
SECTION 3 . This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
