2716 RESOLUTION NO . 2,716 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH THE POLICY OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS IN CONNECTION WITH ACCESS ROADS INTO AND THROUGH BOYLE PARK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES . WHEREAS, it is essential from the standpoint of safety for the users of Boyle Park owned by the City of Little Rock, that the movement of vehicular traffic both into and through the Park be regulated and controlled; and WHEREAS , such regulation and control can best be effected and maintained by limiting the number of access roads into said Park area; and WHEREAS, the lands lying West of said Park are now in the process of being developed, residentially and otherwise, the vehi- cular traffic from which, if allowed to utilize park roads as a means of ingress and egress to said developed area, would greatly increase the traffic hazard and place in jeopardy the safety of the users of said Park; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby directed to regulate the vehicular traffic in Boyle Park by controlling the number and location of access roads in and to said Park through the use of barricades and/or such other devices as will serve such purpose . SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption . ADOPTED: June 19, 1961 ATTEST: APPROVED: fief City Clerk Mayor
