2683 RESOLUTION NO. 2,683
A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO ADVERTISE
AND TAKE BIDS FOR THE SALE OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
OWNED BY THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock is the owner of portions
of Lots 7 & 8, Block 255 , Original City of Little Rock, which
property is no longer needed for public purposes ; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors desires to offer said
property for sale and utilize the proceeds therefrom for needed
public purposes;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to advertise for bids for the purchase from the Ciy
the following described real property owned by the City of
Little Rock and situated in Pulaski County, Arkansas, to-wit:
Beginning at the SW corner of Lot 7 , Block 255 ,
Original City, thence N 75 .0 ' along said Lot line
to a point, thence E 1.2 ' to the point of beginning,
said point being the intersection of the N R-O-W
line of La Harpe Blvd. with the N line of the S
75 ' of Lot 7, thence E 48.8 ' along said North line
of the S 75 ' of Lot 7 to the N line of Lot 8 ,
thence N along the W line of Lot 8 to the NW
corner, thence E along the N line of Lot 8 50.0 '
to the NE corner of Lot 8, thence S along the E
line of Lot 8, to the intersection of La Harpe
Blvd. R-O-W line, said point being 15 .0 ' N of the
SE corner of Lot 3, thence N westerly along a 140
01' 23" curve to the right a distance of 116 .43 '
to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
