2639 RESOLUTION NO. 2,639
RESOLUTION APPOINTING COMMISSIONERS IN LITTLE ROCK STREET IM-
PROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 599 AND ANNEXES 1 , 2 AND 3 THERETO; AND
LITTLE ROCK CURB AND GUTTER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 600 AND
ANNEX 1 THERETO.
WHEREAS, C. J. Hill has moved from this State and disposed
of the realty owned by him which was included in the districts;
and,
WHEREAS, Commissioner Richard W. Newby likewise has moved
from the districts herein involved and is no longer a property
owner as required by law; and,
WHEREAS, in such cases it is the duty of the City Manager
and Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock to fill such
vacancies thus created; and,
WHEREAS, the remaining commissioners of the districts,
Carl A. Suttor, Jr. , and Richard W. Newby, defacto, have recom-
mended the appointments of Wi l l iam P. McKinzey of 4418 W. 22nd
Street, Little Rock, Arkansas, and Ben F. Witcher, 2201 S.
Harrison, Little Rock, Arkansas, both of whom are property
owners and residents in the districts, to fill the vacancies
thus created,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE I T RESOLVED, That William P. McKinzey
of 4418 W. 22nd Street, Little Rock, Arkansas, and Ben F.
Witcher of 2201 S. Harrison, Little Rock, Arkansas, be and
4 they are hereby appointed Commissioners for Little Rock Street
Improvement District No. 599 and Annexes 1 , 2 and 3 thereto,
and Little Rock Curb & Gutter Improvement District No. 600 and
Annex I thereto, which Commissioners shall forthwith take their
4 oaths of office and enter upon their duties with the other Com-
missioner of the said districts.
