2452 RESOLUTION NO . 2452
A RESOLUTION TO ACKNOWLEDGE A RESOLUTION ADOPTED BY THE URBAN
PROGRESS ASSOCIATION, INC. ; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS , on the 29th day of October, 1959 , the Urban Progress
Association, Inc. , through its Board of Directors, passed a Resolu-
tion endorsing the annexation of 22.2 square miles, more or less,
to the City of Little Rock and urging every eligible citizen to vote
affirmatively in the matter;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The expression of support and assistance as set forth
in the Resolution of the Urban Progress Association, Inc. , is gratefully
appreciated by the City of Little Rock and the Urban Progress Association ,
Inc. , is commended by the said City for its genuine interest in matters
of current development of the City of Little Rock.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption .
