A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
MAYOR OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK TO EXECUTE
A PETITION ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK FOR ANNEXATION TO SAID CITY OF CERTAIN
CITY PROPERTIES SITUATED IN PULASKI COUNTY,
ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed on
behalf of the City of Little Rock to execute a petition by
property owners for annexation to the City of Little Rock of
all lands owned by the City in the Southwest Quarter (SWk)
of Section 26, Township 2 North, Range 13 West, Pulaski County,
Arkansas, which, with other lands lies adjacent and contiguous
to the now city limits of the City of Little Rock.
SECTION 2. The purpose of this petition is to comply with
statutory requirements for the annexation of lands lying
adjacent to the City of Little Rock, and will be filed in
accordance with the law in the County Court of Pulaski County,
Arkansas .
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its date of adoption .
