2270 RESOLUTION NO. 2270
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE LOW BID OF AND AWARDING
CONTRACT TO REBSAMEN MOTORS FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE
(1) 1959 FORD 2-DOOR SEDAN FOR USE BY THE POLICE
DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS, the City has legally advertised for bids for the
purchase of one (1) 1959 Ford 2-door sedan for use by the Police
Department, and
WHEREAS, bids have been received and opened pursuant to
said advertisement, and
WHEREAS, the bid of Rebsamen Motors of Little Rock, Arkansas,
is the lowest bid submitted therefor, and
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock is desirous of awarding
contract for purchase of said Ford to said Rebsamen Motors,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. A contract for the purchase of a 1959 Ford 2-door
sedan for a total price of One Thousand Two Hundred Fifty-Five
and 94/100 Dollars ($1,255 .94) for use by the Police Department
is hereby awarded to Rebsamen Motors of Little Rock, Arkansas .
SECTION 2. The City Manager and Director of Finance are
hereby authorized and directed to execute the necessary warrant
or warrants payable to Rebsamen Motors in full payment of said pur-
chase price.
SECTION 3 . This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption .
