2253 RESOLUTION NO . 2 A RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE PRESS AND RADIO ANA ZTELE- VISION ST MONS IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANS , , FOR THEIR WHOLEHEARTED SUPPORT AND ENDORSEMENT OF ALL ISSUES PLACED ON THE NOVEMBER 4, 1958, GENERAL ELECTION '"' BALLOT BY THE CITY GOVERNMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES . WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, in its overall plan for progress within the City placed several issues on the November 4, 1958, General Election Ballot, and WHEREAS , the Press and Radio and Television Stations in the City of Little Rock presented to the voters of said City a thorough and comprehensive report concerning said issues and, in addition thereto,informed the general public editorially of the urgent need for approval of the said issues, for all of which the Board of Directors is most appreciative and grateful, and WHEREAS, the Board of Directors recognizes that such splendid news coverage and editorial endorsement of the aforesaid issues was an invaluable service to the entire City and that without such, the said issues would not have been approved by the voters of Little Rock by such an overwhelming majority, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. That the Press and Radio and Television Stations in the City of Little Rock be, and the same are hereby, commended for their splendid news coverage and editorial endorsement of the issues placed on the November 4, 1958, General Election Ballot by the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock.
