2245 RESOLUTION NO. 221+5 A RESOLUTION FIXING A DATE FOR A HEARING ON A PETITION TO VACATE, ABANDON AND CLOSE CERTAIN STREETS IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS WHEREAS, Success Corporation, 0. D. Hadfield, Jr. , Barbara Keady, and the First National Bank of Little Rock, Guardian, have filed with the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, a Petition praying that the following described portions of "C" Street, also known as "J" Street, Success Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, be vacated, abandoned, and closed, alleging that they are the sole owners of the real property abutting upon the said street described as follows: Those portions of "C" Street, also known as "J" Street , Success Addition to Little Rock, Arkansas, adjacent to and abutting on the South lines of Block 6, 7, and 8, and the North boundaries of Blocks 9, 10, and 11, of the said Success Addition to the City of Little Rock, more particu- larly described as follows: Beginning at the Northwest corner of Block 11, thence East to the Northeast corner of said Block 11, thence North 40 feet to Southeast corner of Block 6, thence West to Southwest corner of Block 6, thence South 40 feet to point of beginning; Beginning at the Northwest corner of Block 10, thence East to the Northeast corner of Block 10, thence North 40 feet to Southeast corner of Block 7, thence West to Southwest corner of Block 7, thence South 40 feet to point of beginning; Beginning at the Northwest corner of Block 9, thence East to the Northeast corner of Block 9, thence North 40 feet to Southeast corner of Block 8, thence West to Southwest corner of Block 8, thence South 40 feet to point of beginning. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: Section 1. That the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, does hereby fix as the date for hearing on this Petition the 12th day of November _, 1958, at 7 :30 o' clock P. M. in the Chambers of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas. Section 2. That the City Clerk of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, give notice of such hearing by publication, once a week for two consecutive weeks, in some newspaper published in the County and having a general circulation in the City, stating in said notice the names of the petitioners, a description of the portions of the street to be vacated, abandoned and closed and a description of the abutting real property, and advising all persons that on the date named above, the Board of Directors will hear the Petition and determine whether said certain portions of said street should be vacated, abandoned and closed.
