RESOLUTION NO. 2233
A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON A
PETITION TO CLOxxION OF SUMMIT AVENUE LYING
BETWEEN AND ADJACENT TO LOTS 6, 7 AND 8, BLOCK 3 AND LOTS 9,
10 AND 11 BLOCK 2 UNION DEPOT ADDITION TO THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
AREAS, a petition has been fih d with the City Clerk of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, asking that that portion of Summitt Avenue lying between and adjacent
to Lots 6, 7 and 8, Block 3 and Lots 9, 10 and 11, Block 2, Union Depot Addition to
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas be vacated and closed; and
WHEREAS, it appears that all the property owners of the property abutting upon
the portion of the street to be vacated have signed a petition with the Board of
Directors their written consent to such abandonment; and
WHEREAS said street has been abandoned and has not been used by the public for a
period of ov.;r five years subsequent to the filing of this plat or at any other time.
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it Resolved by the Board of Directors of the City of Little
Hock, Arkansas:
Section 1. That a public hearing upon the petition to vacate and abandon a
portion of Surmitt Avenue lying between and adjacent to Lots 6, 7 and 8, Block 3 and
Lots 9, 10 and 11, Block 2, Union Depot Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas
be held on the 6TH day of October , 1958 at 7:30 P. M. o'clock, Board of
Directors Chambers, City Hall.
Section 2. That this Resolution shsll be in full force and effect from and after
its adoption by the Board of Directors and approval by the Mayor:
