A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE PROVISIONS
AND CONDITIONS OF MINUTE ORDER NO. 2720 OF THE ARKANSAS
STATE HIGIIIAY COMMISSION DATED MAY 7, 1958, PROVIDING
FOR ILLUMINATION FIXTURES FOR THE RIVE NT DRIVE
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, under date of May 7, 1958, the Arkansas State
Highway Commission by its Minute Order No. 2720 directed
the Highway Director to proceed with the work of installing
illumination fixtures along the entire Riverfront Drive of
the City of Little Rock subject to the following conditions:
1. Program • approval by the Bureau of Public Roads.
2. The City of Little Rock to maintain and operate
the said illumination facility after completion
of installation.
3. Acceptance of the provisions of said Minute Order
by the city of Little Rock within 60 days, and
WHEREAS, the City desires to accept responsibility of
operating and maintaining said illumination facility after
completion of installation by said Arkansas State Highway
Commission, now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY TILE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That Minute Order No. 2720 of the Arkansas
State Highway Commission dated May 7, 1958, authorizing the
Director of said Commission to proceed with the work of in-
stalling illumination fixtures along and upon the entire River-
front Drive of the City of Little Rock conditioned upon the
City of Little Rock obligating itself to operate and maintain
said illumination facility after completion of installation,
be, and the sane is hereby, approved and accepted in its
entirety.

SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full fate. and
effect from and after its adoption.
