RESOLUTION NO. 2194
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING JOSEPH C.
KEMP, CITY ATTORNEY, AND GARDNER DEANE, JR. , ASSISTANT
CITY ATTORNEY, TO PROSECUTE, SETTLE OR OTHERWISE
DISPOSE OF A CLAIM OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS,
AGAINST THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT ARISING OUT OF AN
AUTOMOBILE COLLISION AT MARKHAM AND CROSS STREETS IN
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, DECEMBER 17, 19"7; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That Joseph C. Kemp, City Attorney, and Gardner
De ,ne, Jr. , Assistant City Attorney, are hereby authorized and
directed to prosecute, settle or otherwise dispose of a claim
of the Cl ty of Little Rock, Arkansas, agains': the United States
Government arising out of a collision at Markham and Cross Streets
in Little Rock, Arkansas, December 17, 1957, involving a vehicle
owned by the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, License No. X104,
and en Army vehicle, License No. 1-096 ANG.
SECTION 2. That this resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its adoption and approval.
