2142 RESOLUTION NO. 2142
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING TO THE LITTLE ROCK FIRE DEPART-
MENT FOR ITS USE THEREOF , CERTAIN FURNITURE AND EQUIP-
MENT NOW LOCATED IN THE LITTLE ROCK CITY HOSPITAL FORi!ERLY
OPERATED BY THE UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS AND TURNED BACK TO
THE CITY TOGETHER WITH ITS EQUIPi' ENT, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS , the University of Arkansas has ceased to operate
a hospital building together with its equipment belonging to
the City of Little Rock, and
WHEREAS , said hospital and equipment have been turned back
to the City of Little Rock , and
WHEREAS , the Little Rock Fire Department can use in its
work , certain furniture of the hospital , thus saving the City
of Little Rock the cost of purchasing same,
NOw THEREFORE ,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANS AS :
SECTION 1. That furniture hereinafter designated which is
part of the furniture turned back by the University of Arkansas
together with the hospital building operated by them to the City
of Little Rock be transferred to the Little Rock Fire Department
for its use.
SECTION 2. That such furniture consists of the following
items together with the part of the hospital from which they are
taken:
Residence : 8 wood chairs
3 bed frames
3 springs
Nurse Quarters : 14 bed frames
5 springs
iv`,ain Building : Cafeteria , 40 chairs
Basement: 8 bed lamps
SECTION 3 . That this Resolution shall be in full force and
effect immediately upon its passage and approval .
