A RESOLUTION FIXING A DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON THE CLOSING
OF AN ALLEY IN BLOCK 19, PULASKI HEIGHTS ADDITION TO THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK; PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION OF NOTICES THERE-
OF; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES:
Whereas, a petition was duly filed with the City Clerk of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 11th day of October
1956, asking that the City Council vacate and abandon all that
portion of an alley lying West of Lots One ( 1) and Two (2) , Block 19,
Pulaski Heights Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
extending for a distance of one hundred feet ( 100) . The said
one hundred (100) feet of said alley is bordered on the west by
Lots Eleven (11) and Twelve (12) , Block Nineteen (19) , Pulaski
Heights Addition to the City of Little Rock.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, that the 12th day of November ,
1956, be fixed as the day for hearing the petition to vacate the
aforesaid alley and the City Clerk is hereby directed to give no-
tice of such meeting by publication once a week for two consecu-
tive weeks in some newspaper published in Pulaski County and having
a general circulation in the City of Little Rock. The notice should
state the names of the persons who filed the petition and the name
of the alley to be vacated shall be identified by the abutting lots
in the block, and block and addition shall be set forth. All per-
sons shall be advised that on the certain day named in the notice,
the Council will herein determine whether or not the said alley
should be vacated.
