2076 RESOLUTION NO. 2076 A RESOLUTION FIXING THE DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON A PETITION TO VACATE AND ABANDON ALL OF THE ALLEY RUNNING NORTH AND SOUTH IN THE MIDDLE OF BLOCK 11, SUNSET ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed by Paul E. Talley, Wayne W. Owen, William L. Humphries, and May T. Park, with the City Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas on the Idday of February, 1956, asking that the City Council vacate and abandon all of the alley running North and South in the middle of Block 11, Sunset Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, That the 27 day of February , 1956, be fixed as the date for the hearing upon the petition to vacate and aban- don the aforesaid alley running North and South in the middle of Block 11, Sunset Addition to the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, said alley being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot 12of said block, thence run South along the East boundary line of Lots 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, and 7 to the Southeast corner of said Lot 7; thence East twenty feet to the Southeast corner of Lot 6 of said block; thence North along the West line of Lots 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1, to the Northwest corner of said Lot 1; thence East along the South line of West Thirty-First Street to the point of beginning; and the City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of said meeting by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in some newspaper published in Pulaski County and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas. The notice shall state the names of the signers of said petition and the name or description of the portion of the alley to be vacated and abandoned, and advise all persons that on a said day therein named, the Council will hear and determine whether the alley shall be vacated.
