A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS TO ENTER INTO
A WRITTEN AGREEMENT FOR THE PURPOSE OF CLOSING AND ABAN-
DONING THE ALLEYS ACROSS BLOCKS TWO HUNDRED SEVENTY-NINE
(279), TWO HUNDRED EIGHTY (280), AND TWO HUNDRED FORTY-
ONE (241), ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND
ACROSS BLOCK ONE (1 ) IN FLEMING AND BRADFORD'S ADDITION
TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; FINDING THAT SAID
ALLEYS ARE NOT NEEDED FOR HIGHWAY PURPOSES, AND THAT THE
WELFARE OF THE CITY WILL BE ENHANCED OR PROMOTED BY THEIR
CLOSING; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1 : That it is hereby found and determined that the
alley running in a north-south direction through the center of Block
Two Hundred Seventy-nine (279), Original City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
and the alley running in a north-south direction through the center
of Block Two Hundred Eighty (280), Original City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, and the alley running in a north-south direction through
the center of Block Two Hundred Forty-one (241), Original City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, and the alley running in a west-east direction
through the center of Block One (1 ) in Fleming and Bradford 's Addition
to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, are not needed for highway
purposes, and that the welfare of the City of Little Rock will be
enhanced or promoted by the closing and abandoning of said alleys.
SECTION 2: That the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas be and they hereby are authorized and directed to
join in a written agreement with the owners of all the real estate
in said Blocks Two Hundred Seventy-nine (279) Two Hundred Eighty
(280), and Two Hundred Forty-one (241 ), Original City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, and in Block One (1 ) in Fleming and Bradford's Addition to
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, to the end that the alleys herein-
above mentioned be closed and abandoned.
SECTION 3: A copy of this resolution, duly certified by the
City Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski

County and recorded in the Deed Records of the County.
