A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE AIRPORT COMMISSION TO
MAKE AVAILABLE LANDS SUITABLE FOR TRENCH AND FILL
GARBAGE DISPOSAL USE WHICH ARE NOT LOCATED IN SUCH
A PLACE AS THE USE THEREOF WILL BECOME HAZARDOUS OR
DAMAGE THE AIRPORT FACILITIES.
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock's Sanitation Department
is in immediate need of suitable lands for use as trench and
fill areas; and

WHEREAS, the Airport Commission owns lands which are part
of the Airport facilities, yet the use thereof by the Sanita-
tion Department will not affect the use of said lands as Air-
port facilities; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable that the Airport Commission allot
certain areas to be used by the Sanitation Department which
will not affect or endanger the operation of the Airport.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the Airport Commission is hereby requested
and instructed to take immediate steps to set over an area to
be used by the Sanitation Department for the purpose of trench
and fill garbage disposal operation.
SECTION 2. That the Airport Commission designate the area
and the manner in which said area shall be used by the Sanita-
tion Department.
SECTION 3. That the Sanitation Department accept said area
and work in conjunction with the Airport Commission to the best
use of the area so allotted.
SECTION 4. That this Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
