1966 RESOLUTION NO. 1966 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF LIT'a'LE ROCK, ARKANSAS, ABANDONING AND CLOSING A TWENTY FOOT ALLEY RUNNING EAST AND :EST THROUGH THE CENTER OF THAT PART OF BEACH'S SUBDIVISION OF BLOCK THREE HUNDRED FORTY-FOUR (344) , ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, LYING WEST OF THE ALLEY RUNNING NORTH AND SOUTH THROUGH SAID BLOCK AND AUTHORIZE NG 117E 7,-.LT,CUTION OF AN ABANDONL N^1 AGREEI:NNT. WHEREAS, A. J. L:cCaslin and Robert H. Tyson are the owners of all that part of Beach' s Subdivision of Block Three Hundred Forty- four (344) , original City of Little Rock, lying west of the Alley running North and South through said Block; and WHEREAS, they and/or others with whom they are or will be associated plan to construct an office building on said property; and WHEREAS, there are no public utilities using the alley sought to be abandoned; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of Little Nock does hereby find and determine that the alley twenty feet wide running East and "lest through the center of that part of Beach' s Subdivisi on of Block Three Hundred Forti-four (344) , original City of Little Rock, lying 'Test of the alley running North and South through said block, is not needed for highway purposes , and that the welfare of the city will be enhanced by the closing and abandoning of said alley; BE IT RESOLVED, That said above described alley be and the same is hereby abandoned and closed and the iayor and City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized to join in a written agreement with the owner of all the real estate in that part of Beach's Subdivision of Block Three Hundred Forty-four (344) , original City of Little Rock, lying West of the alley running North and South through said block, to close and abandon the alley twenty feet wide running East and lest through the center thereof.
