1954 RESOLUTION NO. 1954 A RESOLUTION FIXING A DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON THE CLOSING OF A STREET IN BLOCK 2, FORBES? PLACE ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION OF NOTICES THEREOF; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES: WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the City Clerk of the March City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 5th day of iadacxxxy, 1953, asking that the City Council vacate and abandon all that portion of Gould Street lying South of Lot 7, Block 2, FORBES? PLACE ADDITION to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, extending for a distance of one hundred forty (140) feet. The said one hundred forty (140) feet of Gould Street is bordered on the South partly by Lot 8 and partly by Lot 9, Block 2, NEWTON ADDITION to the City of Little Rock. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, that the 30th day of March 1973 , be fixed as the day for hearing the petition to vacate the aforesaid street and the City Clerk is hereby directed to give no- tice of such meeting by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in some newspaper published in Pulaski County and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock. The notice should state the names of the persons who filed the petition and the name of the street to be vacated shall be identified by the abutting lots in the block, and block and addition shall be set forth. All persons shall be advised that on the certain day named in the no- tice, the Council will herein determine whether or not the said street should be vacated. ADOPTED: aiEN* March 9, , 1953.
