1889 RESOLUTION NO. 1889
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REPORT OF THE COMMISSIONERS
OF STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 58 .; ELECTING ASSESSORS
THEREIN; AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 1882; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
Whereas, at a meeting of the City Council of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, held on the 24th day of July, 1950,
there was presented to said Council by the Board of Improvement
of Street Improvement District No. 584, their report, in which
is set out the estimated cost of work to be done; and,
Whereas, it was the desire and intention of the Commissioners,
H. C . Mcauiston, Chester Paul and B. V. Moore, to suggest the
names of W. E. Porterfield, Ted Haynes and R. B . Thomas, as
assessors in and for said Street Improvement District , but that

by inadvertance the names of said Commissioners were inserted
in said Resolution No. 1882 in place and instead of said
W. E. Porterfield, Ted Haynes and R. B. Thomas, and the above
Resolution is, therefore, amended to comply with the intention
of said Commissioners . IOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS;
Section 1. That said report of said Commissioners is hereby
approved and adopted, and W. E. Porterfield, Ted Haynes and
R. B. Thomas, all citizens and tax payers of Little Rock, Arkansas,
are appointed assessors of said District.
