3 A RESOLUTION TO SET MAY 21, 2013, AS THE DATE OF HEARING
4 ON THE PETITION TO RESCIND THE PLANNING COMMISSION'S
5 ACTION IN THE DENIAL OF A ZONING SITE PLAN REVIEW
6 REQUEST TO ALLOW AN INCREASE IN THE STUDENT
7 POPULATION FROM 600 TO 800 STUDENTS FOR LISA ACADEMY
8 CHARTER SCHOOL (Z-3689-K), LOCATED AT 21 AND 23
9 CORPORATE HILL DRIVE, IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
10 ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

12 WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk for the rescission of the Planning
13 Commission's action in the denial of a zoning site plan review request to allow an increase in the student
14 population from 600 to 800 students for Lisa Academy Charter School (Z-3689-K), located at 21 and 23
15 Corporate Hill, in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, pursuant to its general police power authority under
16 Ark. Code Ann. §14-54-104.
17 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
18 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
19 Section 1. The hearing on the petition to rescind the Planning Commission's denial of a zoning site
20 plan review request to allow an increase in the student population from 600 to 800 students for Lisa
21 Academy Charter School (Z-3689-K), located at 21 and 23 Corporate Hill, in the City of Little Rock,
22 Arkansas, shall be held at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock in the Board
23 Room of City Hall at six o'clock on the on the 21st day of May 2013.
24 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed
25 by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski
26 County, Arkansas,and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
