1821 RESOLUTION NO. 1821.
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT
IT.ITH THE MISSOURI-PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY CONCERNING THE
PLACING OF A GRANITE MARKER ON SAID RAILROADS RIGHT OF
1`'AY, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
HEREAS,
The City of Little Rock desires to place a granite monument marking
the terminal of the cuapaw Line which is on the right-of-way of the
Missouri-Pacific Railroad , and
WHEREA ,
The Missouri-Pacific Railroad will grant this permission to the
City upon the execution of an agreement relieving said railroad from
any liability whatsoever in connection .ith the marker,
NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Little Rock
are hereby authorized ana airected to execute an agreement on behalf
of the City of Little Rock with the Missouri-Pacific Railroad Company
whereby said railroad company will grant permission to place a granite
monument on said right-of-way upon the agreement by the City that
the railroad company will be relieved from any and all liability con-
cerning the said marker.
SECTION . 2. All resolutions ana parts of resolutions in con-
flict herellith are hereby repealed , and this resolution shall be in
full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
