A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND .DIRECTING
THE PROPER CITY OFFICIALS TO COOPERATE
WITH THE YOUNG BUSIN?ESS MEN 'S S ASSOCIATION
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS IN THE PROMOTION
OF AN A.IR SHOW AT THE LIT:LE ROCK N'UN-
ICIPAL AIR PORT.
WHEREAS, The progress of aviation in the last decade
has advanced by leaps and bounds, and trans-
portation facilities of both passenger and
freight by air has promoted the efficiency
and progress of various businesses, and
manufacturing concerns in and around the City
of Little Rock, and
WHEREAS, The City of Little Rock has an investment of
several million dollars in the Little Rock
Municipal Airport for the benefit of its
citizens and in order to familiarize the cit-
izens and the general public of this important
function of the municipal government of the City
of Little Rock, NOW THERI H'ORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE LOCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the manager of the Little Rock Mun-
icipal Airport and other city officials are hereby authorized
and directea to cooperate with the Young Business Men' s Assoc-
iation of the City of Little Rock in the promotion of an Air
Show to be held at the Little Rock I.inicipal Airport.
SECTION 2. Such city officials are hereby author-
ized and empowered to do such acts and perform such functions
as to make such air show attractive to the citizens of Little
Rcck and the surrounding con, unities so that the facilities
of the Little Rock Municipal Airport and the services offered
by sa::e may further be brought to the attention of the gener-
al public.
