1737 RESOLUTION NO. 1737 A RESOLUTION FIXING A DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON A PETITION TO VACATE AND ABANDON THAT PORTION OF VAN BUREN STREET WHICH LIES BETWEEN BLOCK 1 AND BLOCK 2, HILLCP+EST ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, AND IS BOUNDEN ON THE NORTH BY NORTH LOOKOUT AND OA THE SOUTH BY HILLCREST; PRO- VIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION OF NOTICES THEREOF; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed by Nancy M. Rector, R. A . Lile and Olive McKnight bile, his wife, Gardner Lile and Ray Louise Lile, his wife, Emma Harrison and Robert L.Rogers II and Fruza Rogers, his wife, with the City Council of the Qty of Little Rock, Arkansas, on thel4th :ay of April, 1947, asking that the City Council vacate and abandon all that portion of Van Buren Street lying between Block 1 and Block 2, Hillcrest Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, and being bounden on the North by North Lookout Street and on the South by Hillcrest Street, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, that the ---5-- day of May , 1947, be fixed as the date for the hearing upon the petition to vacate and abandon the aforementioned portion of Van Buren Street lying between Block 1 and Block 2, Hillcrest Addition to the Qty of Little Rock, Arkansas, and being bounden on the North by North Lookout and on the South by Hillcrest Street, and the City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of said meeting by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in some newspaper published in Pulaski County and having a general circulytation in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas. The notice shall state the names of the persons who sign the petition and the name or description of the portion of the street to be vacated and advise all persons that on a said day therein named the Council will hear and determine whether the portion of the street shall be vacated.
