RESOLUTION NO. 1732
A RESOLUTION FIXING A DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING
ON A PETITION TO VACATE AND ABANDON THE ALLEY
IN BLOCK ONE (1) PERRY HEIGHTS ADDITION TO THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; PROVIDING FOR
THE PUBLICATION OF NOTICES THEREOF; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.

WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed by E. L. Fausett and
Lucile M. Fausett with the City Council of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, on the 214-th day of March , 1947,
requesting the City Council to vacate and abandon the North
and South Alley in Block One (1) Perry Heights Addition to the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, being the Alley situated midway
between Tyler and Harrison Streets and running from Maryland
(Ninth) Street to West Eighth Street.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LITTLR ROCK, ARKANSAS, that the 14th day of April
1947, be fixed as the date for the hearing upon the petition to
vacate and abandon the aforementioned Alley in Block One (1) ,
Perry Heights Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, and
the City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such meeting
and hearing by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks
in some newspaper published in Pulaski County and having a
general circulation in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas. The
notice shall state the names of the persons who sign the petition;
shall describe the Alley to be vacated by designating the abutting
lots or block numbers; and advise all persons that on the date
named the Council will hear and determine whether the said Alley
shall be vacated.
