A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING KCS TRANSPORTATION
COMPANY TO OPERATE TAXICABS IN THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE CITY COLLECTOR TO ISSUE A PERMIT THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, the KCS Transportation Company has filed
a petition for a permit to operate taxicabs within the City
of Little Rock, and the Public Works Committee of the City
Council of the City of Little Rock has held a public hear-
ing upon said petition and has satisfied itself that KCS
Transportation Company meets all of the requirements nec-
essary to operate a taxicab company and specifically the
requirements set forth in Section 4 of Ordinance 6972 of
the Ordinances of the City of Little Rock, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CIr OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS :
That the City Council of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, finds that the public convenience and necessity
require the operation of additional taxicabs in the City of
Little Rock in order that the public may be adequately served.
The City Collector of the City of Little Rock is
hereby authorized and directed to issue to the KCS Trans-
portation Company, a corporation, a permit to operate
taxicabs in the City of Little Rock.
