1704 RESOLUTION NO . 1704
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT
WITH THE FEDERAL WORKS AGENCY, BUREAU OF COMMUNITY FACILITIES
FOR THE ADVANCEMENT TO THE CITY OF THIRTY THREE THOUSAND EIGHT
HUNDRED THIRTY FOUR DOLLARS AND PROVIDING FOR REPAYMENT OF SUCH
ADVANCE .
WHEREAS , The City of Little Rock, Arkansas has heretofore
requested the Federal Works Agency, Bureau of Community Facili-
ties to advance the sum of ($33, 834.00 ) Thirty Three Thousand Eight
Hundred Thirty Four Dollars to the City of Little Rock for the
purpose of plan preparation for construction of certain public
work at the Municipal Airport, described as Airport facilities ,
including administration-depot building, runways , taxiways,
lighting, drainage and appurtenances , and
WHEREAS, The Federal Works Agency, Bureau of Community Facili-
ties is willing to advance said sum of money for said purposes
and,
WHEREAS, said Federal Works Agency, Bureau of Community
Facilities desires that the City of Little Rock enter into an
agreement with said agency, now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1 . The Mayor of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas ,
is hereby authorized, on behlaf of the City of Little Rock, Ark-
ansas , to enter into an agreement with the Federal Works Agency,
Bureau of Community Facilities . Said agreement to provide that
Federal Works Agency, Bureau of Community Facilities will advance
to said City the sum of ( $33,834.00) Thirty Three Thousand Eight
Hundred Thirty Four Dollars for the purpose of plan preparation
for construction of public work at the Municipal Airport, described
as Airport facilities, including administration-depot building,
runways , taxiways, lighting, drainage and appurtenances ; and said
agreement shall further provide that contingent upon the receipt
of the advancement , the City agrees to complete such plan pre-
paration and to repay such advancement when required in accordance
with the regulations of the Bureau, dated January 1, 1946.
