1703 RESOTTTmTnv NO. O • A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND-DIRECTING flENEWAL OF A LEASE TO THE CENTRAL FLYING SERVICE; AMENDING CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF EXISTING LEASE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the Central Flying Service on the 31st day of March, 1941, entered into a Lease Contract with the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, duly authorized thereto, and acting by and through its Acting Mayor, E. W. Gibb, and its City Clerk, H.C .Graham, leasing to the Central Flying Service, Inc . certain space at the Municipal Air- port, which Lease also provided for the right to use the Municipal Airport, its runways and various facilities, and also provided for the rentals to be paid therefor, and contained certain provisions as to the purchase of gasoline and storage of airplanes and aircraft in the Municipal Hangar, and contained other provisions spe- cifically set forth in said Lease, the term of the Lease being from July 1, 1941 to July 1, 1946; and, ' WHEREAS, it is deemed advisable and desirable at this time to renew the said lease, NOW, THEREFORE, Be It Resolved by the City Coun- cil that the said lease be renewed for a period of five (5 ) years, from July 1, 1946 to June 30, 1951, upon the same rental agreement and other provisions as con- tained in the Lease executed on the 31st day of March, 1941, except as to the rate per month for storage of aircraft, which new rate shall be Twelve Dollars Fifty Cents (12.50 ) per month, in the place and stead of Six Dollars ($6.00 ) per month, provided and contained in the original Lease of March 31, 1941, the said re- newal lease to be made to the Central Flying Service, a co-partnership composed of Claud Holbert and Ed Gar- bacz, which co-partnership is successor to the Central Flying Service, Inc . Be It Further Resolved that the Mayor and City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and di- rected to make and execute such lease for and on be- half of the City of Little Rock.
