1693 RESOLUTION NO. 1693
A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE FOR HEARING ON
PETITION TO VACATE AND ABANDON NEST TWENTY-
FOURTH STREET BETWEEN SOUTH TAYLOR STREET
AND FAIR PARK BOULEVARD, AND DIRECTING THE
CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF SAID HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That a hearing be held by the City Council in the
Council Chamber on the 22nd day of October, 1945, at 8:00 o'clock P.M.,
for the purpose of determining whether or not the City Council shall grant
the petition of Foster David Johnson, Lurline Fay Johnson, Harvey Elrod,
Anna Mae Elrod, Harold M. Haskell, Estelle Haskell, and H. F. Buhler, in
which petition, filed on the 28th day of September, 1945, it is asked that
the Council vacate and abandon that part of West Twenty-fourth Street,
lying between South Taylor street and Fair Park Boulevard.
Section 2. That the City Clerk be, and he hereby is, directed
to give notice of such hearing by publication once a week for two
consecutive weeks in some newspaper published in Pulaski county and having
a general circulation in the City of Little Rock; which notice shall set
forth the names of the persons signing said petition, shall set forth the
name and portion of the street to be vacated, and shall advise all persons
that on the date and time aforesaid the council will hear and determine
whether said portion of said street shall be vacated.
