1667 RESOLUTION NO. 1667
WHEREAS, Mr. Thomas Edwin Wilson was summoned to his reward by the Great
Creator on July 31st, 1944, and
WHEREAS, he served faithfully and well as a Council member from April
10th, 1939 to April 12th, 1943. His judgement was always good,
and his policy sound, and
WHEREAS, hevas a most respected citizen and displayed a deep interest
in civic affairs. Hess secretary of the Commonwealth Federal
Savings and Loan Association, and a leader in his profession,
and
WHEREAS, he was devoted to his family and did every thing to make for
their happines.;
THEIEFORE,BF IT RESOLVE D BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS,
that, in the passing of Mr. T. E. Wilson, our country has lost
a patriotic citizen; the state a valued man; the city a true
and tried friend, and his family a faithful and devoted member,
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Council mourns his passing as the loss
of a valued Counselor and that this Resolution be entered upon
the permanent records of the city, and the clerk thereof send
a copy to his widow.
