1666 RESOLUTION NO. 166`:
A RESOLUTION DECLARING THAT USE OF A CERTAIN NINE ACRE TRACT
NEAR BOYLE PARK AND POSSESSION BY THE CITY OF LITTLE RUCK AND
USE BY THE PUBLIC AS PART OF BOYLE PARK TO BE IN NO SENSE
ADVERSE TO THE RIGHTS AND TITLE OF mRS. SNOW Y. BOYLE; AND FUR
OTHER PURPOSES;
WHEREAS, on the 19th day of March, 1936 the City of
Little Rock conveyed by quitclaim deed a tract of land consist-
' ing of nine acres, more or less, to John F. Boyle, which said
is
quitclaim deed/of record in Book 236 at nage 455 of the records
of Pulaski County, Arkansas, and which said quitclaim deed was
made for the purpose of correcting an error made in the original
deed whereby the said John F. Boyle conveyed to the City certain
lands to be used for a public park, and
WHEREAS, the said John F. Boyle on April 13, 1936,

conveyed the said nine acres above referred to to his wife,
Snow Y. Boyle, by quitclaim deed of record in Book 236 at page
496 of the records of Pulaski County, Arkansas, and
WHEREAS, the said nine acres above referred to, and
more particularly described in the deed from the City to the
said John F. Boyle aforesaid, is being occupied by the City for
the use and benefit of the public and as a part of the recreational
area known as Boyle Park, all with permission of the owner of said
nine acres, Mrs. Snow Y. Boyle, and
WHEREAS, possession of the said nine acres by the City
_ for and on behalf of the public is not now and has never been
adverse to the rights and title of the said Mrs. Snow Y. Boyle.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of
the City of Little Rock that it does here and no declare that
the possession of the nine acre tract of land above referred to
r and its use of said tract for park purposes and for use and
benefit of the public is with the consent and permission of the
owner of said nine acre tract, Mrs. Snow Y. Boyle, and such
possession by such City and the public is hereby declared to be
in no sense adverse to the rights and title of said Mrs. Snow Y.
Boyle as the legal owner of said nine acre tract.
