1658 RESOLUTION NO . 1.658
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE STATE BOARD OF HEALTH TO UTILIZE PART OF
THE RIGHT-OF-WAY NEAR CAPITOL AVENUE AND WOLFE STREET .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1 . The State Board of Health is hereby authorized to
utilize the following portion of the street right-of-way near Capitol
Avenue and Wolfe Street in the City of Little Rooks the right-of-way
affected by this resolution is described as follows :
Beginning at the Northeast corner of Capitol Avenue and
Wolfe Street, thence North along the East right-of-way line
of Wolfe Street for a distance of 41 feet,-thence 'Test for
a distance of 9.33 feet, thence South along a line parallel
to the East right-of-way line of Wolfe Street for a dis-
tance of 66 .5 feet, 'Chence East for a distance of 9. 33 feet,
hence North for a distance of 25. 5 feet to the point of
beginning.
SECTION 2. The permission to use the right-of-way mentioned in
Section 1 of this resolution is conditioned on the State Board of
Health using said right-of-way for the purposes of constructing thereon
a retaining wall to retain the street fill and for the purpose of
constructing a parapet above the street grade as a part of the wall;
for the purpose of protecting automobile vehicle traffic , utilizing
the street affected; and for the further purpose of placing a concrete
slab on a portion of the right-of-way mentioned in Section 1 of this
resolution, said concrete slab to be placed in the side walk area
and to be utilized for parking purposes .
SECTION 3. The permission granted in Section 1 of this resolution
is further conditioned on the State Board of Health providing ample
drainage facilities to carry all storm waters traversing the area
covered by this resolution.
