A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO
GIVE NOTICE BY PUBLICATION ONCE A WEEK
FOR TWO WEEKS OF BARING ON PETITION TO
ABANDON THE NORTH-SOUTH ALLEY IN BLOCK
5 , POPE'S ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK.
aIE EAS, there has been filed with the City Council a petition
praying that the North-South alley in Block 5 , Pope' s Addition to
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, be abandoned under the provisions
of Act 311 of the Acts of the General Assembly of the State of Ark-
ansas of 1941, and
yh REAS, it appearing from the Deed Records of Pulaski County,
Arkansas, that said petitioner is the owner of real property abutting
said alley, now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice
by publication once a week for two weeks in some newspaper published
in Pulaski County, Arkansas, having a bona fide circulation therein,
that said petition has been filed, and that, the City Council will,
at 8:00 o' clock P.M. , on the 24th day of January , ,
1944, hear said petition and determine whether said property should
be abandoned as an alley and whether all abutting property owners
and other persons directly interested have consented to such abandon-
ment.
