1642 RESOLUTION NO. 1642
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR OF T- E CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK TO EXECUTE DAMAGE RELEASE TO TWENTY-FOUR INCH PIPELINE, BUILT BY
THE WAR EMERGENCY PIPE LINES, INC.,
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock, on or about October 19, 1942, executed
a pipeline easement in favor of the War Emergency Pipelines, Inc., cov-
ering Lots 1, 2 and north 5' of Lot 3, located in block 20, Factoria
Third Addition, also lot #12located in Block 21, Factoria Third Addition
to the City of Little Rock.
WHEREAS, ill pursuant to a certain provision incorporated in said right-
of way grant, the War Emergency Pipeline Company, agrees to pay any and
all damage caused, to fences, crops and improvements on the above des-
cribed property.
WHEREAS, said pipeline has been constructed and the premises adjacent
to the pipeline right-of-way has been inspected by a representative of
the pipeline company and the City Engineer, and as a result of said in-
spection, there was no damage of any kind or character done to the above
premises by reason of the construction of the said pipeline.
NOW, THEREFORE, IN CONSID'ERATION of-the sum of 01.00, the City of Little
Rock, by it's Council in session, lo-hereby authorize and direct the
Mayor of the City of Little Rock, to execute on behalf of the City of
Little Rock, a release, holding said War Emergency Pipeline, Inc. , harm-
less from any and all damage of any kind and character caused by the
construction of said pipeline.
