WHEFEAS , the City of Little Rock is desirous of cooperating
wholeheartedly with the State and Federal governments in the
construction of the Highway over East Twenty-fifth Street and
in the construction of the over-sass over the Rock Island
tracks to be constructed as a part of said East Twenty-fifth
Street , and
WHEREAS , the City of Little Rock has been requested by the
Highway Department of the State of Arkansas to furnish a
right of way over and across certain lands needed for the
East Twenty-fifth Street highway, NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . That the IMayor is hereby requested to ascer-
tain from the Highway Department of the State of Arkansas the
precise right of way that said Highway Department will require
for the East Twenty-fifth Street highway to the end that the con-
struction of East Twenty-fifth Street highway may be expedited
to the utmost .
