A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND THE CITY =XXXII TO ENTER INTO AN
AGREEMENT WITH THE; NATIONAL YOUTH ADMINISTRATION, AND TO MAKE AVAILABLE
TO THE NATION*YOUTH ADMINISTRATION CERTAIA LANDS OWNED BY THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . WHEREAS it is fitting and desirable and in the interest
of national welfare that the City of Little Rock make available to the
rational Youth Administration of the United States of America certain
real property located within the City of Little Rock
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of
the City of Little Rock that the mayor and the City Clerk are hereby
directed and authorized to enter into any agreement which the said
Mayor and City Clerk may deem advisable to make available to the
National Youth Administration of the United States of America, the
following described real property owned by the City of Little Rock :
Part of the SW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of the SW 1/4, Section
6 , TWP 1 NR 12 West , Pulaski County, Arkansas , being
more particularly described as follows : Beginning at
a point which is 20 feet North and 40 feet West of the
Southeast corner of the SW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of the
SW 1/4 of Section 6 , TWP 1 N .R 12 I. Pulaski County,
Arkansas , thence West along the North Right of Way line of
West Eighth Street a distance of 800 feet to a point,
thence North 31 degrees East a distance of 800 feet to
a point , thence East to a point 40 feet West of Center
line of Fair Park Boulevard Drive thence in a Southerly
direction along a line parallel to and 40 feet West of
centerline of Fair Park Boulevard Drive to the point of
beginning.
Said lands are to be used by the National Youth Administration for
the purpose of erecting a structure or structures to be used in connect-
ion with the establishment of a work experience training center for
the active training of youths in various trades , vocations and crafts .
Section 2 . This authority shall be effective from and after the
passage of this act .
