1575 RESOLUTION NO. 155.
WHEREAS, The City of Little Rock is now engaged in
a program to recodify and digest the various ordin-
ances and resolutions that have been passed from time
to time by the Little Rock City Council, and
WHEREAS, It is possible that many of said ordinances
and resolutions have been rendered obsolete by the
passage of time and the growth of new conditions so
that said ordinances and resolutions no longer perform
the functions they were intended to fulfill; and
WHEREAS, It is highly desirable that the legal code of
the City of Little Rock be as modern and up to date as
possible ,
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS ,
Section 1, That the Legislative Committee of the Little
Rock City Council and the City Attorney be and they are
hereby requested to study together the various ordinances
and resolutions that have been passed from time to time
by the Little Rock City Council so that obsolete and
unnecessary laws may be eliminated and useful laws may
be strengthened.
Section 2. That at the conclusion of said study, the
Legislative Committee and the City Attorney are requested
to report their findings and recommendations back to this
Council for whatever action the Counoil may deem appropriate.
