1574 RESOLUTION NO. 1574.
WHEREAS, the adequate maintenance of the parks of the City
of Little Rock is a necessary and useful function of the City
Government, and,
WHEREAS , the citizens of Little Rock derive great pleasure
and enjoyment out Of the opportunity to rest and find healthful
recreation in the Little Rock City Parks , and,
WHEREAS, many citizens of Little Rock live close to the
Little Rock City Park, and,
WHEREAS, the Little Rock City Park is not being adequately
tended and cared for at the present time because of a lack of a
custodian or caretaker for the Little Rock City Park,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKARSAS :
That the Mayor and/or the City Engineer are hereby requested
and petitioned to employ a custodian for the Little Rock City
Park at the earliest convenient date .
