RESOLUTION NO. 1571
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of Street Improvement
District No. 553 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas has filed its
report, together: with an estimate of the cost of the improvements
contemplated in said Street Improvement District No. 553, and it
appearing therefrom that the estimated cost of the construction of
said improvements , exclusive of interest on borrowed money, is the
sum of $7,108.00 being less than forty (40°,) per cent of the assessed
value of the real property in the district, as shown by the last
county assessment;
NOW, THER:rORE , BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Little
Rock, Arkansas that said report be and the same is hereby approved
and that the making of the assessment for said improvements be under-
taken and that D. L. Sadler, W. I. Scott and Sam F. Harmon, each of
whom is a resident of the district and an elector of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, be and they are hereby appointed as Assessors
for said district to assess the benefits to be received by each lot
or block in said Improvement District No. 553 by reason of the proposed
local improvements therein.
