WHEREAS, the Board of Improvement of Street
Improvement District No. 549 of Little Rock, Arkansas , "'4
has filed its rc.00rt, together with an estimate of the
cost of the improvements contemplated in said local
improvement district, and it appearing therefrom that
the estimated cost of the construction of said improvement,
exclusive of interest on borrowed money, is the sum of
r ? 1,200.00, being less than 40;0 of the assessed value
of the real property in the district as shown by the
last county assessment ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
CCLTNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS ; that saic report be
and the same is hereby approved and that the making of
the assessment for said improvement be undertaken and
that n. . L. Turner , R. S . Bell and W .A. McHughes,
each of whom is a resident of the district and an elect-
or of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, be and they
are hereby appointed as assessors for said district to
assess the benefits to be received by each lot or block
or other subdivision of lands , railroad right-of-way in
said district, by reason of the proposed local improve-
n"ient therein.
